Hi folks,
I thought I'd pass along the responses I got to my query about people who work on bathrooms, since some other folks have expressed interest. Here's the info I received from various people:
Hello - My neighbor just had her bathroom redone. The person who did it is from her church. I believe he about $2,000 to do the whole (small) bathroom (new tub, toilet, sink, floor to wall tile, plumbing, and also put in a new vent/exhaust fan). If you want to see her bathroom I can ask her to show it to you. Me and two other neighbors went to see her bathroom and plan on redoing our bathrooms with the same person.
The name of the person who did her bathroom is Jose Trejo (703) 447-5919. Jose and his son do the work. I noticed that while they were working, they put down a floor cloth from the door entrance to the bathroom, as to not ruin the floor. I think they did an excellent job.
Other Suggestions:
We used Chandler Plumbing. I got their name off this listserve a while ago, and used them to do work on our bathroom (just basic plumbing). My In-Laws used them to re-do three of their bathrooms, and eventually we plan on using them again for a complete renovation of our 2nd bathroom. I would say they're not the most expensive and not the cheapest. Anyway, we liked them.
